Official state materials point families to separate PIHP/CMHSP customer-service systems and local directories; no qualifying statewide general provider method was found.

A decision is adverse or authority is uncertain

Use the correct Medicaid appeal, non-Medicaid dispute, grievance, rights, benefit, and decision-support routes.

  2. Separate non-Medicaid service disputes, grievances, and alleged Mental Health Code rights violations.

Urgent need, crisis, abuse concern, or service breakdown

Address immediate safety, then document and correct the system failure.

  1. Call 911 for immediate danger; otherwise call or text 988 and use the local CMHSP crisis route when appropriate.
  2. Report suspected vulnerable-adult abuse to APS and separately use Recipient Rights, licensing, and service-correction routes as applicable.
  3. Document changed needs, failed supports, and risk and request the specific reassessment, plan revision, authorization, network, or crisis action.
