Oregon VR youth and Pre-ETS services

Before you start

  • IEP or 504 plan, transition assessments, Summary of Performance, school-exit date, work experiences, employment and training goals, disability records, accommodations, communication needs, and current VR or Pre-ETS status.

Who to contact

Start with the local Community Developmental Disabilities Program. After eligibility, use the chosen CDDP services coordinator or Support Services Brokerage personal agent. For an adverse action, use the exact notice and the current complaint or hearing route.

Step by step

  1. For a qualifying student, use the current Pre-ETS request route.
  2. When individualized VR services are wanted, complete the VR referral and intake process.
  3. Track Pre-ETS, VR eligibility and waitlist, Individualized Plan for Employment, school, and CDDP actions separately.
