Step by step
- Use the official Request DORS Services form, or call the nearest DORS office for help completing it.
- Explain the help needed to get or keep a job. DORS will review eligibility and the materials needed at the appointment.
- Ask DORS to confirm the next appointment or any waiting-list status. Save the response and the counselor’s contact information.

DORS asks you to allow 10 business days for the office to process the request and arrange an appointment.

Keep a copy or confirmation of the request, the submission date, correspondence, and the next appointment or named contact.

If no appointment or response is confirmed after the processing period, call the nearest DORS office with the request date.

DORS decides eligibility and priority. A request does not guarantee services or an immediate start. Pre-ETS is limited to qualifying students ages 14–21; it is not the age-22+ route.
