Urgent need, crisis, abuse concern, or service breakdown

Emergency response, APD crisis review, abuse reporting, incident response, and plan reassessment have different purposes.

  1. Use emergency or 988 response first when needed, then use APD’s crisis-enrollment route for qualifying waiver urgency.
  2. Use the Florida Abuse Hotline for suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation and document service correction separately.
  3. Give APD and the support coordinator a dated changed-needs summary and request the applicable reassessment or revision.
